Some reasons to love Bees....
*They give us yummy honey and honeycomb!
*They pollinate our beautiful flowers and agriculture and are very efficient at their job. (Bees pollinate one-sixth of the worlds flowering plants and about 400 agriculture plants)
*Honey is composed of sugars like glucose and fructose and minerals like magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium chlorine, sulfur, iron and phosphate. It contains vitamins B1, B2, C, B6, B5 and B3 all of which change according to the qualities of the nectar and pollen. Copper, iodine, and zinc exist in small amounts. Several kinds of hormones are also present in it.

According to the USDA 36 million people suffer from seasonal allergies. Here in Utah almost everyone I know has an allergy of some sort due to the changing sesons. I don't currently have any allergies but I am going to prevent them by taking a teaspoon of honey every morning. I have heard from numerous people that this works...its worth a try and safer than medications. The honey actually works like a vaccination. Very cool
*Honey can also be used on your skin as a moisturizer, to heal burns, as a hair conditioner, and to soothe a sore throat just mix with lemon and water.
*Honey is also a natural antiseptic and has antimicrobial properties! Read more on the die-off of the bees
